Organized Crime Training Network OCTN
Bled Process on Stolen Vehicle Crime Has been taken over from the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, Police Forum task force, in order to improve national and regional activities streamlined in accordance to International Standards. The main focus of this project is to create international data exchange system between State Authorities and the Private Sector, in order to fight stolen vehicle crime.Communications and WEB Project This project`s goal is to give more visibility to the Association as well as building a reliable network among police forces in Southeast Europe (SEE) together with International Partners. With the launch of a modern and flexible Website SEPCA will smoothly provide more transparency to police activities from the SEE region as well as maintain a high information flow.I-24/7 Main Checking Point Connection Has been initiated to connect the main borders crossings in the region with the Interpol IT System of I-24/7, in order to check persons, cars and documents whether they are missed or searched or stolen. The first phase of the project has been finalized in 2008 and also, the second phase has been planned to be started in 2008. Therefore, SEPCA, RCC and Interpol agreed to invite potential donor countries for a meeting in November 2008 to receive the final report of the first phase and to approve the project proposal of the second phase.Community Policing This projects aims to implement community policing related structures and behaviours of Police Services in the region and to train specialised ‘train the trainers' officers to spread community policing principles throughout the region. The Community Policing Forum also takes place one a year in the region.
