Public security and safety in SEE A vision developed by the National Directors of Police of South Eastern Europe
Dear visitor,
As the President of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA), I would like to thank you for your interest about our activities. SEPCA has been established in January 2002 to build police co-operation in South Eastern Europe (SEE), and in particular, to create partnership between the National Police Chiefs who are the active members of this Association.
Our mission's vision has been focusing on strengthening the public security in SEE building partnership between the citizens and our police services in SEE. Additionally, SEPCA aims to develop police co-operation in SEE based on many joint projects to balance the national developments in our region.
SEPCA has been supported by the Swiss (governmental) Agency for Development and Coordination (SDC) in regards of financial support for our projects and its consultancy and, the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) for advising our future institutional development. The association focuses on best co-operation with the Ministers of Interior and the regional partners towards enhanced public security for our citizens.
